What is a silver halo ?

Our hand painted icons are now offered with the option of a silver halo instead of a gold one.

The silver halo is hand made of 925o proof silver and is embossed on the icon using a special technique. The embossed silver halo gives a three-dimensional look and feel to the icon. A beautiful final touch that makes your icon even more precious and unique.
