A beautiful Greek Orthodox icon of St. Gregory the Theologian, handmade & hand painted by an expert Greek hagiographer.

Gregory the Theologian was a great father and teacher of the Church. His feast day is celebrated on January 25. With Sts. Basil the Great and John Chrysostom, he is numbered among the Three Holy Hierarchs, whose feast day is celebrated on January 30.

Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques, this icon is an exact reproduction of an antique Byzantine masterpiece.

The icon bears the artist’s signature on the front and the seal of authenticity on the back.
