Ancient Greek life size helmet with ram crest from Arcadia on the Peloponnese.
Arcadia with its most prominent city-state, Tegea, was a member of the Peloponnesian League under the Spartan leadership since the 6th century BC.
This Corinthian style helmet bears a ram crest, probably belonging to a high ranking officer of the Arcadian hoplite army. Dated to 400 B.C.
The helmet is offered with an optional marble stand to create a perfect display piece.
Handmade in Greece of solid bronze, an exact museum reproduction.
