Our Greek pottery items are handmade in Greece in a small family

pieces from all over the world and bear the lead seal of authenticity.
This amphora features on one side Achilles killing the Queen of the
Amazons, Penthesilea. Penthesilea is down already pierced by Achilles’
spear. Note the conventional use of white for female flesh.

Reverse side, Dionysus holding his kantharos and ivy branches with
his son Oinopion, who holds the wine jug. Oinopion is naked, with
sparing but flowing incision indicating anatomical details.
